Technical Information
The Hoesch® isorock HP Acoustic Mineral Wool Wall Panel is a visible fixed insulated panel with mineral wool insulation core and perforated inner cover layer. It is used as a partition wall and only for internal application. Due to the perforated inner face layer, the acoustic behavior in rooms is significantly improved. Especially for acoustic insulation and sound absorption applications. The sandwich elements can be laid vertically or horizontally. The sound absorption coefficient (α<sub>w</sub>) according to EN ISO 11654:1997 is 0.95 for element thicknesses of 80-100 mm and 1.0 for element thicknesses of 120-150 mm. The sound absorption coefficients (α<sub>s</sub>) are available from Kingspan Technical Support.
